INSTALLER / FITTER

You will be working on a self-employed basis with the potential of earning £30-45kper annum. There is also potential to increase these earnings further through the up sale of products to existing customers.

​

If you have experience as a carpenter, joiner, glazer, property maintenance technician, installations engineer, general handyperson or just simply good at DIY, and are looking for a new challenge, then this is the job for you!

​

Full and extensive training is given and you will continue to be coached and mentored until you fully understand the products and processes.

​

Once a sale has been made by one of the Thomas Sanderson designers, as an installer you will then be asked to contact the customer to arrange a suitable time to survey. This would be to carry out bespoke measurements and check the customer is happy to proceed and book in their installation date.

​

The installers are earning between 30-40k in their first year and the company average is around 6-8 appointments per week (these can vary on length of job etc).

It is a self- employed commission only role and you have the opportunity to upsell to customers which therefore increases your earning potential.

There is a small enrolment fee which covers part of the investment Thomas Sanderson make in you. This includes;

A training period of 4-6 weeks, this will include classroom based learning at the Training academy in Nottingham and shadowing experienced installers to learn the role and ensure that you are representing this high end brand by offering high quality work, paying attention to detail and communicating professionally. 

The classroom based learning is a 5 day induction at their training academy

This is fully expensed with accommodation, breakfast, lunch and evening meals provided

Your initial training period (4-6 weeks) you will be paid £80 a day whilst learning the ropes!

 

 

This role will include some evening and weekend work.


You would work a 50 mile radius from your home postcode.

 

 

The ideal Installer / Fitter candidates will have:

* Proven practical abilities and attention to detail


* Excellent customer focus


* Experience of managing your own workload


* Full UK driving and your own van

* Have their own basic tools: Battery Drill, Hammer Drill, Screwdrivers & Basic hand tools .

* Have their own laptop and smart phone? 
(Laptop is used for entering contract details.)
